Janmei Ng, a terrible real estate agent and a broker at Living Realty. She is one of the most dishonest individual we have ever seen in our life. Our experience with her in process of a purchasing a town house must be a lesson to everyone. We do not recommend her to anyone. She is a manipulative woman who you cannot trust her at all. She terribly betrayed us. She merely misled us and caused us a significant financial loss and a great deal of aggravation and stress. Her motive is not to work for the best interest of client but to work for her quick commission. This self-centred agent told us housing market is very hot and we should not put the condition of inspection and finances. She also misguided us by asking a large deposit at the time of offer. The property had inspection report by the seller which at the time of our offer was sent to her by the seller’s agent but she withheld the inspection report from us and stated any inspection report by the seller is B...S... which was not true. She was aware that the property has too many safety hazardous defects and if we were aware of it, we would have never wanted to put a firm offer. If we ever known the defects of the property from inspection report, we would have never put a firm offer. Janmei Ng did not take any step to protect our interest as a client. What she cared it was just her own interest. My husband and I felt betrayed by her deceptive approach and misconduct. As a result of high level of stress she caused to our family, my husband had cardiac attack. When we confronted her with the fact that she deliberately did hide the inspection report from us, she was very rude, aggressive and non apologetic.
We lost $10,000 of our deposit, the money which was hard earned money and came from our retirement saving. Please DO NOT EVEN GET CLOSE TO this dishonest and greedy real estate agent.
